AMAZON — Chieftess Khaing Zar is demanding that the people of the Amazon pay tribute.
Sunisa Minoptra, alleged police officer, approached Eve Heartsong, first lady of Libertad, sometime last week to demand tribute be paid to Zar. This demand was also extended to the Amazon River Sun, a subsidiary of Bolero Media and Legal Services, LLC.

"By order of the Xoco tribe The Amazon River Sun concern is required to pay tribute to the mighty Chieftess Khaing Zar, leader of the Xoco and Empress of all the Amazon, within 48 hours. No tribute or any gifts not worthy of her magnificence will result in swift and destructive retribution,” the tribute demand stated.
Many people the Amazon River Sun spoke to are not happy. Khaing can collect her tribute over their dead body, they said.
Aries, of the Luna tribe, told the Sun that they have not been officially asked to pay tribute, but sources tell the Sun that the tribute applies to everyone in the Amazon. Aries insists that the tribe will not pay.
“They will be sadly mistaken if they think we will pay them,” Aries said.

Bertha Mae Ruby said she would be offering Khaing discounted fried chicken. Ruby is heir to the Ruby fortune, which includes the Libertad Resort. Ruby stressed that the offering was not an official tribute from the Libertad Resort, and she was only representing herself in the offer.
According to Heartsong, the Xoco have since been attempting to retract the tribute demands.
"They don't want to bother tribes they don't think they can't defeat, which includes Tapirape. So this means she is not even able to fully claim Blood Bath Bay, yet...the whole jungle has been challenged," Heartsong said.
Zar was unavailable for comment, so it’s unclear if she’ll accept the discounted friend chicken. Ruby was later kidnapped and forced into labor for a time on Saturday, suggesting the offer was refused.
"They made me clean naked," Mae Ruby said.
The Amazon River Sun has offered Zar free advertising, which includes publicizing her tribute demands. No word yet if the chieftess will be accepting the Sun’s offer.
It’s also unclear exactly what will happen to those who are refusing to honor the request. Aries suggested a conflict could arise if the Xoco tribe takes action against those who are refusing to pay, such as the Luna tribe.
This is a breaking story and will be updated as detail emerge.
