AMAZON — After Libertad refused to pay Xoco Chieftess Khaing Zar a tribute, Sunisa Minoptra and a number of associates allegedly vandalized the Libertad Resort Monday.
A large volume of clothes belonging to Eve Heartsong, First Lady of Libertad, were also stolen from the location, and Aries, head of Libertad security, was attacked.
These acts resulted in a confrontation that nearly sparked a war between the civilized members of the Amazon River Society and the savage Xoco natives.
Zar had begun recently demanding tributes of most members of the Amazon community, and the Xoco have been threatening retribution for those who don't pay.
A note, which was signed by the Xoco Empire, was left by the assailants of Monday's attack, thanking Heartsong for paying a tribute of her entire wardrobe.
“Please rest assured that any outfits that the Empress deems to be not worthy of her status will be redistributed to the poor of the jungle: probably Tapi or some other peasants,” the letter, which contained a number of spelling and grammatical errors, stated.
Not one to cower before the threats of natives, Heartsong, who is owner of Libertad Resorts, went Monday to confront the native chieftess.
"Chieftess Khaing, why would I pay you any tribute? Why would anyone pay you any tribute?"- Eve Heartsong, First Lady of Libertad
While Zar claimed to be innocent of any vandalism, Heartsong presented the letter that had been left behind.
"Do you condone the fire, vandalism, and violence against my people?" Heartsong demanded.
Zar responded by pointing out that Heartsong had not paid the tribute.
"Chieftess Khaing, why would I pay you any tribute? Why would anyone pay you any tribute?" Heartsong replied.
One of Zar’s guards drew her sword, and for a moment, it appeared that a battle would ensue. Before blood was drawn, however, Zena, a Xoco native and fictional character in a cheesy 90s television show, offered to repair the damage.

"Zena, I accept your offer to clean up the mess that you sisters made on my camp promptly,” Heartsong graciously stated. She also reaffirmed the Libertad’s position on paying tribute to the Xoco chieftess, who is said to prefer the title empress.
Zena followed Eve back to Libertad where she removed the graffiti and performed other repairs. No word on if the clothes will be returned, but it appears Zena has a gift for making peace.
